En Francais - Coming Soon! OUR MISSION - KISS: Farewell 2000 is devoted to bringing you "fan-taken" photos of KISS during their Farewell Tour. We'll have pictures from different venues taken from the fans perspective, whether it be front row, or upper level. If we can find the pictures and get permission to display them, we will. Look for pictures of Skid Row and Ted Nugent as well.
9/02/02 - UPDATE - It's been almost a year since I last updated Farewell 2000. Why? Well, partly because of the events of September 11, 2001. The stress from days following, coupled with a really tough time at work simply took my motivation away. However, I'm proud to say that soon...I will have new venue updates. I have located photos from several additional shows and am currently in the process of securing permission to reproduce those photos here.
6/4/01 - WOW! - I just thought that I'd let you know...I just received an email from Robin Bachman of Bachman Turner Overdrive. He said that he had run across my site and really liked it. He also let me know about his new site (opened May 11, 2001) called BTORocks. I've done some checking and I'm 99% sure this is a completely legit email (Sorry Robin for having that 1% doubt, but you know how easy it is to get duped on the Internet -grin- ).
4/18/01 - UPDATE - I've not given up!!! I know that it has been a while since my last update, but unfortunately, "real world" has kept me away from my updates...Another week of madness, and then I should be back to normal and will get the updates ready that I have spoken of... Please check back soon! Thank you!
3/13/01 - UPDATE - It's been a busy week at work so I've not had much time to do a lot of updating. However, I did receive permission from Aaron (SpaceAce) to post his photos from the Hamilton, Ontario show.
3/8/01 - UPDATE - Coming Soon...photos from Omaha, NE and Kansas City, MO. Thank you Scott McFly! Also, photos from The Gorge in George, Washington should be available soon thanks to "Subaru Dave".
Farewell 2000 is looking for other KISS fans who have taken photos at KISS concerts. We would like to create a "Farewell" tribute to the band acknowledging 27 years of dedication to us.
